Same-Day Wardrobe Removal Singapore
Your new built-in is arriving Thursday. The renovation contractor starts Monday. The flat handover is tomorrow afternoon, and that three-door wardrobe is still standing in the master bedroom.
Wardrobes don't walk out on their own. Most were assembled inside the room and are wider than the doorframe, which means they leave in pieces or they don't leave at all. That's where we come in.
How We Take a Wardrobe Apart
Every wardrobe comes apart differently, and our crew reads the construction before touching a single screw.
Flat-pack and IKEA-style wardrobes are held together with cam locks and dowels. They come apart in a specific sequence: doors off hinges, drawers out, shelves and hanging rails removed, then the carcass separated panel by panel. Particle board crumbles if you force it in the wrong direction, so the order matters.
Sliding-door wardrobes need the doors lifted off their top and bottom tracks first. Mirror doors get extra care during handling.
Older solid-wood wardrobes are a different job entirely. They're heavier, often screwed or glued rather than cam-locked, and some sections need cutting to get through the bedroom door.
Built-in wardrobes are fixed to the wall or ceiling. We remove the wardrobe itself, but the wall behind may need patching by your renovation contractor afterwards. Anti-tip brackets on tall freestanding units get removed too.
Crew size depends on the wardrobe. A single PAX unit might need two people. A full wall of built-ins across a master bedroom calls for more. We'll confirm after seeing your photos.
Before We Arrive
Two things to sort on your end:
Empty the wardrobe completely. Clothes, shoes, boxes on the top shelf, the forgotten bag at the back. Our crew dismantles and removes the structure. Clearing the contents is yours to do beforehand.
Tell us what we're dealing with. When you WhatsApp your photos, mention whether the wardrobe is freestanding, bolted to the wall, or fully built in. A close-up of the fixings saves time on-site. If you're doing a full move-out or handover clearance, let us know what else needs to go alongside the clothes cupboard.
Where It Goes
Metal fittings, hinges, and rail brackets go to recycling channels. The panels and carcass go to intermediaries who sort them further before anything reaches disposal.
HDB Flats
Wardrobe panels travel down in the passenger lift. There's no service lift in an HDB block, so our crew sizes the panels to fit. For walk-up blocks without a lift, surcharges apply for stair carry. If you're clearing other furniture at the same time, bundling everything into one trip keeps things efficient.
Condos and Commercial
MCST approval and any lift booking are yours to arrange with building management before the day. If your condo requires lift padding, that's provided by the building, not by us. Let us know the access rules when you book so the crew arrives prepared. Removing built-in wardrobes in a condo often involves tighter corridor access and stricter timing windows, so the more detail you share upfront, the smoother it goes.
Get It Done
We handle wardrobe removals across all Singapore districts, subject to availability. If you also need a bed frame taken out or the rest of a bedroom cleared, one visit covers it all.

FAQ
Do you pay for wardrobes or offer trade-ins? No. We're a disposal service, not a buyback operation. Whether it's a solid teak antique or a water-damaged flat-pack, the service is removal and responsible disposal. There's no cash, credit, or offset against the job cost.
Can you remove a wardrobe the same day I contact you? We work to tight deadlines regularly, but same-day jobs depend on crew availability and your location. Surcharges may apply for after-hours, Sundays, or public holidays. Send your photos via WhatsApp and we'll confirm what's possible.
Do I need to dismantle the wardrobe myself before you arrive? Not at all. Dismantling is part of what we do. Just make sure it's emptied of all personal belongings. Our crew handles the rest, from removing doors and tracks to breaking down the carcass panel by panel.
