Appliance Removal Singapore

Your kitchen renovation starts Monday. The new aircon is going in tomorrow afternoon. The handover inspection is in three days and there's still a dead dishwasher bolted under the counter.

Whatever the deadline, the old appliances need to go before the new work begins. We remove them fast, route them through proper e-waste recycling channels, and get out of your way — subject to availability.

Appliances We Take

This page covers the household appliances that sit outside fridges and washing machines:

  • Aircon indoor units — wall-mounted fan coils and ceiling cassettes
  • Built-in ovens and gas hobs
  • Dishwashers
  • Clothes dryers — vented and condenser types
  • Microwaves and countertop ovens
  • Storage water heaters

One trip can cover several of these at once. Send photos of everything via WhatsApp and we'll quote the lot together.

You Disconnect. We Lift.

Most of these appliances are wired, plumbed, or gas-connected in ways that require a qualified hand to disconnect safely. The boundary is simple: your tradesperson disconnects, we do the rest.

Aircon units need a licensed aircon technician to recover the refrigerant and disconnect the lines before anyone touches the hardware. Once that's done, we take the indoor units. Outdoor units on an HDB or condo aircon ledge mean working at height with safety equipment, so ask your aircon contractor to take those down. For more on what's involved, read our aircon disposal guide.

Built-in ovens are typically hard-wired into a dedicated circuit and screwed into a cabinet housing. An electrician isolates the supply and disconnects. We slide the oven out of its housing, trolley it to the vehicle, and clear the space.

Gas hobs and cookers — the gas supply must be shut off and capped by a qualified gas worker. Not by the homeowner, not by us.

Dishwashers have a water inlet valve and a drain hose. Shut off the water supply, disconnect both lines, and we wheel it out. Vented dryers need their exhaust hose detached from the wall vent. Condenser dryers are simpler: empty the water collection tank and they're ready to go.

Storage water heaters hold a full tank of water and are both plumbed and wired in. A plumber or electrician disconnects and drains it; tell us in your photos whether it's still on the wall.

What Happens on the Day

Our crew arrives with trolleys and the right vehicle for the job. Built-in appliances get slid out of their housings carefully — oven cavities and under-counter dishwasher slots. Dryer doors are taped shut so they don't swing during the carry. Loose parts like hoses, brackets, and mounting plates go with the unit.

In our 10+ years clearing Singaporean homes, a common one is a kitchen renovation where the oven, hob, and dishwasher all need to go on the same morning before the contractor arrives. We plan for that.

HDB and Condo Logistics

For HDB flats, we work with the standard passenger lift and stairwell. No service lift exists in HDB blocks. If your unit is in a walk-up building or the lift is out of service, let us know upfront — surcharges apply for stair carries.

For condos and commercial properties, the owner or tenant needs to arrange any required MCST approval and service-lift booking with building management before our arrival. Lift padding, where the MCST requires it, is provided by building management. We can't arrange these on your behalf, but we'll work within whatever access window you've secured.

Where It All Goes

Every appliance we collect is routed through e-waste intermediaries who sort recoverable metals and components for recycling. We won't claim recycling percentages we can't verify, but responsible routing through proper channels is how we've operated across all districts for over a decade. More detail on our e-waste disposal page.

FAQ

Do you pay for old appliances or offer trade-in credit? No. We are a disposal service. We don't buy items, offer trade-in value, or compensate for anything we collect — regardless of the appliance's age or condition. The quote covers removal and responsible disposal only.

Can I book a removal before my technician has disconnected the appliance? Absolutely — schedule us for after the disconnection is complete. Coordinate with your aircon tech, electrician, or plumber so the appliance is fully disconnected and safe to move by the time our crew arrives. Disconnection is for your technician, electrician, plumber or gas worker.

Do you take multiple appliances in one visit? Yes, and that's usually the most efficient way. A kitchen renovation might mean an oven, hob, dishwasher, and microwave all going at once. Send photos of everything via WhatsApp and we quote the full job together.
