Retail Shop Closure Disposal Singapore
A lease ends. The landlord wants the unit back. Everything inside — gondola shelving, glass display cases, leftover stock, POS counters, wall-mounted signage — needs to be gone before the hand-back date stamped on your tenancy agreement.
In our 10+ years clearing retail units across Singapore's malls and street-level shopfronts, we've seen how quickly a closure timeline compresses. One week you're running a closing-down sale; the next, the centre management office is chasing you for the keys.

What We Clear From a Closing Shop
Retail units accumulate more built-in bulk than most tenants realise until it's time to strip everything out:
- Glass display cases and counters (tempered, laminated, or acrylic)
- Gondola shelving, slatwall panels, and wall-mounted racking
- Cash-wrap counters and POS fixture stations
- Leftover stock, packaging, and promotional materials
- Illuminated signage, lightboxes, and fascia boards
- Ceiling-hung displays and track lighting rigs
- Back-of-house storage shelving and staff furniture
We handle the dismantling and removal. You don't need to break anything down yourself.
This Isn't a Fit-Out Handover
Shop closure disposal covers clearing everything out of the unit — your contents, your fixtures, your signage. The goal is an empty space.
If your landlord requires full reinstatement to bare-shell condition (removing false ceilings, stripping floor finishes, capping off services), that's a different scope. We cover that under our retail fit-out handover service. Some jobs need both; some only need one. We'll confirm which applies when you send through photos and your lease-end requirements.
Mall Access Is the Hard Part
Clearing a 500-square-foot unit might take a few hours of physical work. Coordinating the logistics around centre management rules can take longer to arrange than the job itself.
Every mall operates differently. Some restrict goods-lift use to a 90-minute window between 10pm and midnight. Others require trolley routes that avoid public corridors entirely. Loading-bay slots may need booking days in advance, and some centres charge a refundable deposit for after-hours access.
You arrange these approvals with your centre management before the pickup day. We don't liaise with centre management on your behalf — but once you've confirmed the access window, we'll crew and vehicle the job to fit within it. Surcharges may apply for after-hours or weekend scheduling; we confirm these at the quote stage so there are no surprises.
FAQ
Can you work mall after-hours? Yes, subject to availability. Many retail clearances happen between 10pm and 6am to avoid disrupting neighbouring tenants. After-hours surcharges apply and are confirmed in your quote.
Do you take fixtures and shelving as well as stock? Everything goes. Glass showcases, metal gondolas, timber counters, boxed stock, signage — we clear the lot. We do not pay for or buy back any items; this is a disposal service.
How fast can you clear a unit? It depends on unit size, volume, and the access window your centre management provides. We work to the tightest deadline your job allows, subject to crew availability. Extra charges may apply for urgent timelines.
